TAUs School of Medicine offers the following medical programs:

Duration: 1 Year

Eligibility: Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE with 5 credits or better, four of which must be English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Science.

HPFP Program

TAUs Health Professions Foundation Programme (HPFP) is one of the best foundational courses in Africa that cover the basics of medicine, qualifying students aspiring to join Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB), nursing and pharmacology, and many more programs.

The foundation medical courses at TAU, Zambia, have been structured to help students enhance their knowledge with hands-on exposure, encouraging them to think and learn beyond conventional approaches to shape their future as healthcare professionals.

MBChB Program

Eligibility:‘A’ levels / PreMed with Pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics

Life Science and Physical Science with an associate degree/diploma in Health science program.
