Diploma in Pharmacy

Diploma in Pharmacy program is premised to contribute to developing a robust pharmaceutical workforce required to deliver quality pharmaceutical care services in Zambia, the region and the world. It is a 3-year full-time diploma course designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other pharmaceutical-related fields.

Diploma in Pharmacy program at Texila is designed to ensure graduates attain competence in the core behavioral attributes and role descriptors of a pharmacy technologist as outlined by the Health Professions’ Council of Zambia (HPCZ) competency standards (HPCZ, 2018) and the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) standards (ASHP, 2015), respectively.

Eligibility:
Grade 12 or GCE with Credits or better, four of which must be English, Mathematics, Physics / Chemistry / Science and Biology / Agricultural science
