TAU-Zambia is a premier nursing school in Zambia, and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is being introduced to support the theme “A Nation of Healthy and Productive People.” Students who graduate from this program will function as educators, administrators, clinicians, and researchers. Our program aims to fill the unique shortages that are prevalent in the field of healthcare.

Years (Incl. of 1-year Health Professions Foundation Program) Duration

Grade Twelve School Certificate or GCE with 5 credits or better, four of which must be English Language, Mathematics, Biology and Science.

Years Duration (RN-BSN)

Diploma in Nursing(3 Years) + Registered Nurse Licensure.

years (Students who have completed HPFP) Duration

A Level with pass in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the bachelor’s in nursing program will be equipped to:

Assess the health of clients throughout their lifespan
Manage nursing and healthcare in several unique settings
Manage education programs designed for the community
Maintain and document the necessary health-based records
Provide mentoring and training to junior nurses and support staff
Support families and patients who might be dealing with the loss of life
Develop curriculum for nursing which is relevant to society and its needs
Initiate patient treatment within the scope of practice prescribed for nurses
Disseminate learning through publications, research papers, discussions, and other forums
Provide evidence-based healthcare and nursing to individuals, families, groups, and communities
