Founder and President

Mr. S.P. Saju Bhaskar is the Founder and President of Texila American University Consortium located in Mauritius.

Mr. Saju has served higher education in his entire professional life. Through his role as an Entrepreneur & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), he has acquired a deep and broad understanding of the challenges of leading a major educational institution by and large

His undaunted leadership, technology insight, and stewardship have strengthened the University’s culture of innovation, expanded its verticals, and enhanced its global reach. His positive leadership has brought Texila American University Consortium from the concept to reality as it has gone through the genesis into a full-fledged organization.

Mr. Saju oversees the development, planning, target setting, auditing, and reviewing processes of the entire congregation. He has ensured strong ethics and culture in the whole line up along with an effective development and implementation of the in-house systems to keep a track on all the process. Mr. Saju has floated different brands which include: Texila American University, Guyana (TAU GY), Texila American University, Zambia (TAU ZM), Texila American University, Fujairah, Texila eLearning (TEL), Global Scholarship Trust (GST), Texila International Journal, and Texila e-Conference to his credit.

Mrs. Chitra Lakshmi is the Executive Vice President of Texila American University, which is one of the rapidly growing universities in Zambia.

She has been instrumental in Texila’s growth from its concept to reality by leading the organization-wide initiatives to strengthen the program impact and growth of the university. With several years of extensive experience in the field of Finance, HR, Strategic Planning, Team Leadership, and Gap Analysis & Planning, Mrs. Chitra has played a vital role in devising the TAU’s vision and strategy in fostering the client relations that moved the university to the forefront of its market share. She has led the Central Finance Planning and Analysis Team supporting the CEO and supported in managing staffs in different location where TAU has its operations.

Mrs. Chitra oversees the Global Accounting and Finance Operations with transaction processing and facilities in Guyana, India, China, Philippines, and Hong Kong and which is being extended to the USA and UAE shortly. She has ensured cohesive financial strategic and operating plans as well as lead allocation of resources, ROI strategies, content profitability, financial forecasting, analysis, and performance measurement. As a key member of the decision-making team, she works closely with other high-level executives to drive growth and seek improvements in operational processes. Mrs. Chitra is typically responsible for preparing financial materials for the Board of Directors with effective access to information for appropriate staff and business partners and taking the lead in financial best practices. As the Vice-President of Texila American University, she has ensured high satisfaction levels of students on campus, smooth functioning of the day to day activities, and the employee welfare and satisfaction.
